Quest LED has developed the ideal T5HO option in LED. The Quest T5 works with the existing ballast (see ballast compatibility chart prior to installation), or can be connected without the ballast (double-ended connection). Quest has added a safety feature by adding a protective film cover to shatterproof the new T5.
